Accountancy Profession Award from the Institute for Solidarity in Asia



The Philippine Accountancy Profession as represented by the Board of Accountancy (BOA) and the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) was declared Public Governance System (PGS)-Compliant by the Institute for Solidarity in Asia, in ceremonies held March 26, 2008 at the Hotel Sofitel Manila. The recognition is conferred upon sectoral organizations pursuing a governance reform program as its contribution to national development.
